The Nocellara olive is an cultivar originating from the Valle del Belice area of south-western Sicily. When this olive is used as a table olive, it is known as Castelvetrano. The olives are large and green with a mild and buttery flavor.
This Nocellara Extra Virgin Olive Oil is complex with herbal understones, such as fresh herbs or artichoke leaves. This EVOO provides a mild bitterness but is very well-rounded in its flavor profile.
